Important Information About Scheduling Classes

Like any other activity one of the most difficult things about beginning -- or continuing -- a martial arts program is the time commitment required.  In order to advance it is necessary to attend classes on a regular basis and a firm commitment to your schedule is the easiest way to do this.

Make your class schedule a priority that you schedule other things around when possible and try to attend classes on a regular basis.

One of the most important components for successful training is taking the time to review and practice your material outside of class.  Just like (academic) school homework is an essential component for progress.

Learn to look at your valuable class time as a time for you to learn new material and have corrections made to the material you have already learned -- use your time away from school to practice (physical) and review (mental) your current material so that you won't have to be 'taught' the same material over and over again every time you come to class.

Plan your class and practice time well, and you will see rapid and consistent progress.
